 Prompt: Initially I struggled with this assignment. At some point, however, I started having an easier time coming up with similes and metaphors about my life. When this happened, I began to enjoy the process of creating unique similes and metaphors. I think that this really helped me become a creative writer.

  Prompt Response:  When I am working on a project, I typically create a loose plan in my head on what I want to do and how I will do it. This helps me stay on track and avoid wasting time. I was most proud of a project I made in 8th grade. I made a very impressive civil war diorama. This project was of a quality I never thought that I could achieve.  Prompt: The word malinger resonates with me. I never knew that there was an entire word for skipping work or school by pretending to be sick. It is a useful word that is not really heard of.
