What strategies have you and your group used to ensure that all members are actively contributing to group assignments? Explain how you communicate, divide responsibilities, and hold each other accountable throughout the process.

Our group makes sure that we communicate. An example of this was when Nyla was absent at school. Later that day she texted me on Instagram asking what we did so I could fill her in. We also split up a couple of the worksheets that we had. Summary: Today we made our introduction. Reflection: I learned how to cooperate better with my teammates.

Prompt: What challenges did your group face while selecting and analyzing sources, and how did you overcome them? Be specific about how your group communicated and worked through disagreements.

Prompt: A lot of my group members were not present. I overcame this issue by communicating with my group members over Instagram. Another issue was that some of my group members used their personal accounts, making it so that their sources could not be accessed by the group folder. We solved this by adding thee personal accounts to the group folder. Summary: Today we worked on our project. Reflection: I learned about researching.

Prompt: Reflect on your research topic and identify the most compelling issue connected to it. Clearly explain what the issue is and discuss why you find it particularly interesting or important. Support your response with specific details from your research.

Using specific search strategies and evaluating sources has increased the quality.  Summary: Today we worked on our sources. Reflection:  I learned how to research better.

How has completing the annotated bibliography changed or clarified your understanding of your research topic? Discuss how your sources connect to one another and how they are shaping your argument moving forward.

Prompt: Completing my annotated bibliography has clarified my understanding of my research topic by having me gather the main ideas of each source. This caused me to understand my sources better and in turn giving me a better understanding of the source's relationship to my topic. My sources have given me a deeper understanding of my argument. Summary: Today we worked on our annotated bibliographies. Reflection: I learned more about sourcing.

Which part of the annotated bibliography (summary, reflection, or evaluation) was the most challenging for you, and why? Explain how that challenge helped you grow as a researcher and how it will help you when writing your research paper.

Prompt: The most challenging part of my annotated bibliography was my evaluation. This challenge helped me grow as a researcher because it helped me correlate my sources to my topic. It will help me use my sources more efficiently when writing my research paper. Summary: Today we worked on our annotated bibliographies. Reflection: I learned more about sourcing

As you gathered sources, you were expected to find multiple perspectives on your topic. What differences did you notice between your sources? Explain how these differences helped you better understand the complexity of your issue.

Prompt; I noticed that some sources focused on the direct relationship of social media and young people considering plastic surgery. Other sources I found focused on the specific neurological reasons. These differences helped me really narrow down the effects of social media. Summary: Today we worked on our annotated bibliography. Reflection: I learned about sourcing.

Political cartoons often use exaggeration and symbolism to make a point, and they can also serve as important visual sources for analysis. What is being criticized in this image? Your research question is designed to explore a complex issue. What makes this topic difficult to answer or solve? Identify at least two different perspectives or factors related to your topic and explain why understanding multiple viewpoints is important.

Prompt: This topic can be difficult to answer because plastic surgery is used for many reasons. Some people get plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons, which can be argued for or against. If you could plan the perfect spring break with no limitation, money, time, or responsibilities—what would it look like? Where would you go, who would you bring, and what would you do?

Prompt: The perfect spring break would be to reside in a lavish beachside home with endless amenities. My friends would also stay in separate houses next door. I would honestly just spend lots of time relaxing and lazing about, but I would also like to go out on occasion. Summary: Today we did a Commonlit. Reflection: The Commonlit made me think about college.

Then, connect this idea to your own life by explaining a time when you wanted complete independence or control over a situation. Did things go as planned, or did you face unexpected challenges?

Prompt: Chris's desire for independence got him killed because it ultimately led to him being secluded, away from those who may be able to help him. A time that I wanted to be independent is a current dilemma. I honestly think I might want to go straight into the workforce after high school rather than pursuing college. I do not know the outcome of this yet. Summary: Today we read the last chapter. Reflection: I finished the story.

It causes the audience to feel more concerned based off of his actions. Summary: Today we watched the film. Reflection: I saw Chris in a new light.
