 Prompt Response:  One time I was hanging out with my unnamed friend "M" and we went to an ice cream store. I decided that I was going to order cotton candy ice cream. My friend started making fun of me for getting cotton candy ice cream. I asked him why and he said "That's so gross". I feel like he judged me unfairly because I think that everybody is entitled to their own preferences.

Summary: Today we did a commonlit about fear.

Reflection: I learned that fear could be useful in some aspects.

  Prompt Response:  When I am working on a project, I typically create a loose plan in my head on what I want to do and how I will do it. This helps me stay on track and avoid wasting time. I was most proud of a project I made in 8th grade. I made a very impressive civil war diorama. This project was of a quality I never thought that I could achieve. I also really enjoyed making the project because I really enjoy history. Summary: Today we did a vocabulary assignment. Reflection:  I learned new words that I can use in my writing.

 Prompt: The word malinger resonates with me. I never knew that there was an entire word for skipping work or school by pretending to be sick. It is a useful word that is not really heard of. I also thing that the word comes off of the tongue really well. Summary: Today we did vocabulary. Reflection: I learned new words that I can use in my writing.
