In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

 Prompt Response: I feel like an interloper when talking to an already established group of friends. I usually am treated with respect, but I feel like I am intruding on their lives. They have their own inside jokes and things going on. I think that many people can relate to this.

  Prompt Response:  When I am working on a project, I typically create a loose plan in my head on what I want to do and how I will do it. This helps me stay on track and avoid wasting time. I was most proud of a project I made in 8th grade. I made a very impressive civil war diorama. This project was of a quality I never thought that I could achieve.  Prompt: The word malinger resonates with me. I never knew that there was an entire word for skipping work or school by pretending to be sick. It is a useful word that is not really heard of.
