 Prompt Response: I think a really cool adventure to go on is climbing K2. It is extremely intimidating because it is a 1 in 4 death rate. I think if I were to attempt that right now I would surely die. If I were ever crazy enough to attempt this, I would probably do it in around 20 years. This is something that would be a very fulfilling accomplishment. 

Summary: Today we read an Emily Dickenson poem and analyzed it.

Reflection: I learned about how influential Emily Dickenson was.

  Prompt Response:  When I am working on a project, I typically create a loose plan in my head on what I want to do and how I will do it. This helps me stay on track and avoid wasting time. I was most proud of a project I made in 8th grade. I made a very impressive civil war diorama. This project was of a quality I never thought that I could achieve. I also really enjoyed making the project because I really enjoy history. Summary: Today we did a vocabulary assignment. Reflection:  I learned new words that I can use in my writing.

 Prompt: The word malinger resonates with me. I never knew that there was an entire word for skipping work or school by pretending to be sick. It is a useful word that is not really heard of. I also thing that the word comes off of the tongue really well. Summary: Today we did vocabulary. Reflection: I learned new words that I can use in my writing.
