 Prompt Response: Me and my friend were bowling and I ended up winning. He was pretty upset that he lost and he knocked over my soda and it spilt on the ground. I ended up asking him why he did that and he said he was really jealous that I beat him in bowling. I ended up forgiving him and he bought me a new soda.

Summary: Today we worked on presentations about "The Jealous Father". Our presentation was specifically about the culture of the Cree tribe that was included in the short story.

Reflection:

Today I learned about the culture of the Cree people of Canada, specifically I learned a lot about their spiritual beliefs.

 The most challenging part about working in a group is trusting the other members in the group to do their part. Sometimes your group members may be irresponsible. Last semester I dealt with this problem and I learned that I need to be more considerate when choosing my group members. Summary: Today we graded other essays.   Prompt Response:  When I am working on a project, I typically create a loose plan in my head on what I want to do and how I will do it. This helps me stay on track and avoid wasting time. I was most proud of a project I made in 8th grade. I made a very impressive civil war diorama. This project was of a quality I never thought that I could achieve. I also really enjoyed making the project because I really enjoy history. Summary: Today we did a vocabulary assignment. Reflection:  I learned new words that I can use in my writing.
