 Prompt Response: I would describe my mind as a pit of desire. I feel like I constantly desire something, and when I fulfill that desire, another one comes up. I think this is something a lot of humans can relate to, but I definitely see it in myself. I feel like I always have some sort of goal throughout my life. A lot of these desires are things I cannot fulfill, but I still want them.

Summary: Today we read two more Emily Dickenson poems.

Reflection: I feel like I have gotten better at analyzing poems.

I was most proud of a project I made in 8th grade. I made a very impressive civil war diorama. This project was of a quality I never thought that I could achieve.  Prompt: The word malinger resonates with me. I never knew that there was an entire word for skipping work or school by pretending to be sick. It is a useful word that is not really heard of.
